The Nutrient Removal & Recovery Conference is held by the Water Environment Federation in cooperation with The North Carolina Section of the American Water Works Association (NC AWWA) & The North Carolina Member Association of the Water Environment Federation (NC WEA), and The Water Research Foundation.

Paul Dombrowski will be delivering the following presentations with several technical experts throughout the day on Wednesday:

  • "A Full-Scale Pilot Side-By-Side Comparison Reveals Microscale Differences In The Microbial Ecology Of Conventional And Side-Stream EBPR Systems"
  • "Performance and Microbial Population in Side-Stream Enhanced Biological Phosphorus Removal Systems"
  • "Application of Agent-Based Modeling to Reveal Competition between PAOs and GAOs in SideStream EBPR (S2EBPR) Systems"

Dombrowski will also be giving a solo presentation from 11:05 - 11:25 AM on Wednesday titled, "Process Model Simulation Provides Effective Hands-on Approach to BNR Operator Training."
