Maine Stormwater Conference

The Maine Stormwater Conference brings together municipal, state, and federal employees; engineers; planners; academics; and other professionals to learn about and discuss stormwater management.  The event will showcase effective planning, design, maintenance, and funding approaches to address stormwater runoff quantity and quality and habitat challenges and will focus on collaboration and partnerships that help municipalities and other groups achieve their clean water goals. 

Monday, October 23

From 10:00 - 10:30 AM, Zach Henderson will be giving a presentation titled “How Your Friends in Sewer Will Save Your Stormwater!” with Tim Haskell from the York Sewer District. 

Teri Demers will be giving a presentation titled, "Exceeding the Benchmark Value: How to Maximize Cost Savings for IDDE Program Implementation" from 1:00 to 1:30 PM. At the same time, Lauren Swett will also be giving a presentation with Nathaniel Smith, from the City of Portland, ME, titled, “Starting from the Bottom - Capisic Pond Enhancement.”
