Woodard & Curran Well-Represented in A&WMA Local Leadership Roles

Published: 4/12/2018

At the recent Air and Waste Management Association (A&WMA) Connecticut Chapter meeting, Woodard & Curran project manager Dave Krochko, PE was unanimously elected as the chapter’s new chair. Dave provides permitting and compliance support related to federal and state air pollution control programs to organizations in the industrial, institutional, and municipal sectors. His experience with emission monitoring, reporting, and regulatory negotiation has afforded him the expertise to act as a true partner to our clients as they navigate the often complex landscape of compliance. Dave also leads environmental training courses and is well-versed in other types of regulatory programs, helping clients with Oil Spill SPCC planning and RCRA compliance

“A&WMA is a fantastic organization, and I’ve found attending its local, regional, and national events to be thoroughly educational and enjoyable,” says Krochko. “I’ve especially appreciated the opportunity to participate in various roles with the Connecticut Chapter over the years and look forward to continuing that while holding the position of chair.”

In addition to Dave’s new role, Woodard & Curran has great representation in the Connecticut chapter with technical manager Jen Beaulieu, PE serving as secretary, technical manager Michael Newman, PE as treasurer, and senior client manager Steve Holtman, PE, LEP as a board member. Matt Jones, CCM is the communications chair for the organization’s New England section, and serves on the annual conference planning committee alongside national practice leader Pete Catizone, CCM, QEP. Michael Newman and project manager Matt Jones will also each be presenting papers at the conference in June.
