Pete Catizone, CCM, QEP

National Practice Leader
Air Services
Pietro (Pete) works across Woodard & Curran’s business units to expand and enhance services provided to our clients in the oil and gas, manufacturing, food and beverage, energy, and pharmaceutical industries. His responsibilities include directing and overseeing our air dispersion modeling services and keeping air and meteorological modeling staff apprised and current on modeling guidance and technical developments. He advises and supports clients with strategic permitting and compliance challenges and manages projects involving a broad range of environmental air issues, including projects requiring Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) permits, achieving compliance with chemical accident prevention provisions, managing Title V operating permit and risk management programs, and leading field air quality and meteorological monitoring programs.
Growing up in a small hill town in southern Italy and spending most of my time on the farm I was fascinated by the natural forces of weather: it completely dictated our daily lives and wellbeing, making it essential to always be aware and mindful of our environment. I could not have dreamed then, that I would eventually have a role in helping achieve tremendous progress in our industrial and economic growth, while improving our air quality and our environment. Working with clients sharing the same reverence for our environment and the objective of preserving and improving our air resources, we have and continue to succeed in achieving both.
